Welcome to Cool Ridge Vineyard! BoutiqueUnique!

Proprietors, Gerhard and Suzanne Glocker, now share the reality of their dream with you!

From nearly 15,000 vines planted by hand, nurtured by hand and harvested by hand, the winemaker,

Gerhard Glocker, has crafted small lot, high quality wines with the unique flavors of the limestone chalk soil.

From Bud Break....

Buds typically break in April with hopes of no severe frosts. By mid May those fears are relieved which begins the hands-on tasks of training the shoots and canopies and protecting the vines from mildew, insects and potential threats.

To Veraison......

In early August, the vineyard experiences veraison. This is when the green and hard berries begin to soften and become plump with pulp. The skins become thin and the grapes become sweet!

To Harvest !

Harvest begins in September for whites and October for reds. When the sweetness, flavor and acidity are optimal, each varietal is harvested for processing by hand. To reap the fruits of our labor is like nothing else ....

the blessings of Harvest!
